Virtue and Vice

Our culture has taken the vice "Lust" and turned it into a virtue, by what we see on t.v. not showing chastity and what we see in magazines not showing modisty, which makes us think its ohkay to be this way.

our culture changed commiting adultery as a something not bad but romantic.
there are many people who think 'if i have a sexual realtionship with someone else than
my spouse, it's LOVE not an adultery.' but there are people who also think if other people commit adultery,
it's a sin no matter what reason. it shows how our culture changed the vice into a virtue.
it also shows the people's selfish minds.

Our Culture has taken doing drugs as a vice and turned it into a virtue. In our culture, the fun thing to do is to hit the Bong or crack a couple beers. Patience has ben turned into a vice because patience gets nobody anywhere in todays buisy world.

Out culture has taken the vice of lust and made it to be something that is not a big deal. They make it seem okay when it really isn't. Things we see on tv and hear on the radio are giving us the wrong impression of how to act.

The vice of premarital sex has been turned it into a virtue because people are being told that it is okay to have sex before marriage. Generosity has been turned into a vice because people are selfish and only think about themselves..now a days

our culture has turned sex before marriage into a virtue by promoting the need for sexual desires and diminishing human dignity. our culture has turned gluttony into a vice because now everyone just wants everything and the world revolves on how much cash you have to spend on non materialistic items.

The vice that has been made by our society is that of chastity in the sence that premaridal sex, or lust, is okay, so chasity is wrong.
Conversely, the virtue that has been made by our society is that of greed, telling us that money is everything we need.

I partially agree with this statement because, if you have enough money, you, your children, and their children can live comfortable lives.

Our culture has taken the vice sloth and made it a virtue. Our culture encourages us to be lazy, not think for ourselves, and to ignorantly follow everyone else. Instead of being lazy, everyone should do whatever they can to promote justice which includes our moral obligation to let people know when they are morally wrong. Justice is one of the most important virtues because it is following our human nature while promoting human dignity.

i think our culture has taken things like drinking and sex to be a virtue and cool and switched the opposite to be a vice and uncool. our cultures messed up

One vice is premarital sex. They changed it by promoting condom use for all people to prevent from having babies. That's not good because premarital sex isn't good. It deminishes human dignity.

our culture has taken the virture of gratitude and made it into something ruining our society. the vice is envy that i speak of and it involves someone not being grateful for what they have. This sense of unfulfillment is evil and poisons us

our culture has taken gods gift of sex and turned it into almost wat some ppl would say as dirty. god did not intend it to be this way(vice). our culture has also taken premarital sex as being ok, which in all actuallity is against our religion(virture).
